Job Responsibilities

  • Personal and Care: Assist clients with transferring, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and medication reminders.
  • Companionship Care: Provide caring companionship through conversation, encouraging activities, and helping with hobbies.
  • Health Monitoring: Assist with diet monitoring, monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff and family members.
  • Risk Prevention: Identifying possible slip and fall risks and taking measures to prevent clients from falling.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress as recommended in care plans.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Privacy: Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations at all times.

Experience Preferred

  • Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living settings is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with medication administration practices is a plus.
  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and providing compassionate care is crucial for success in this role.

Job Qualifications:

  • Licensed CNA, CMT, HHA, PCA
  • CPR/First Aid, TB test results, recent physical
  • Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
  • For rural areas, caregivers must have their own vehicle

Shifts: We have new cases every week and are always looking for talented new caregivers. We hire for all shifts, day, night, overnight, and weekends. We also staff live-in cases.
