Job Description
Do you love being a caregiver, tending to new clients on a regular basis?
Caring Hands Caregivers is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated On Call Caregivers to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential ADL support to a variety of clients as a floater.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional care to the individual client in a facility setting or in home care.
- Complete ADL’s in a safe and professional manner.
- Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client.
- Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years professional caregiving experience
- Must be located in the South Bay Area/or Peninsula and have a reliable car and the ability to drive as far north as Redwood City
- Must be available with very short notice and on call (You will be paid to be by the phone, waiting for our call)
- Must be able to assess new situations quickly and enjoy working with a variety of clients
- Must have experience caring for a number of different ailments such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson’s and bed bound clients.
- Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
- Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of circumstances
- Must be reliable, dependable and on time
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Can pass a background check and provide references
- Available for day shifts
- Facility work experience, Hoyer-lift and CNA certification is a plus
