POSITION 2

A Day In The Life: (Caregiver) Veterans Specialist

• - Traveling within our service area, helping those in need receive the quality care they deserve.

• - Schedule Days: Saturdays & Sundays ONLY

• - Shift Times: Days | Early Evenings (Up to 8 Hours Per Day)

• - Shift Duration: 3-4 Veterans per day; 2-3 Hour Shifts per Veteran

Duties:

• - Providing companionship, conversation,

• - Help with bathing, toileting, and grooming

• - Help with mobility and repositioning

• - Preparing and serving meals

• - Laundry

• - Light housekeeping (when time permits)

You Are a Great Fit for This Role When You Have:

• - At least two (2) years of experience working in:
    Senior Care or Direct Patient Care as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA (Required)
• - Experience in non-medical home care or other health care facility experience (Preferred)
• - Valid Drivers License (Required)
  --No Public Transportation or Ride Share--
• - Valid auto insurance (Required)
• - Ownership of, or access to, a reliable vehicle (Required)
• - The ability to travel anywhere within FirstLight Home Care of Austin’s Territory (Required)
• - Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for both Clients and Caregiving Staff
