Assisting Hands is hiring for Supported Living Services cases throughout OC! We provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes. Our customers expect honest, reliable, compassionate, caring men and women to assist them. If you have these qualities and are interested in making a difference in someone’s life, we need you!
Job duties include:
- Personal Care Assistance (must be ok with: bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Transferring and Ambulation Assistance
- Light Housekeeping
- Grocery Shopping and Meal Preparation
- Companionship/Supervision
- Transportation/ assistance scheduling transportation to doctor appointments and running errands
- Assistance with goals!
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Have reliable transportation
- Valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance
- Documents that show identity and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Registered with The Home Care Aide Registry*
- Must be able to pass a Background Check*
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening *
- Must be ok with bathing, grooming, transferring
- Must be able to work weekends (if needed)
- Must be able to complete basic arithmetic computations and perform tasks
