Visiting Angels of Central Arkansas is the family alternative that provides non-medical assistance to seniors and other adults (our focus is on seniors). Our services allow our clients to stay in their home or maintain their current living arrangements in an assisted living facility or independent living community.  We assist our clients with Activities of Daily Living.  Our philosophy is to provide the best care possible to seniors and other adults who need our help.

We are seeking caregivers to join our care giving team. We are seeking EXPERIENCED caregivers with a passion to serve seniors and other adults. Caregivers MUST have experience or training as a caregiver working with the elderly and/or other adults. Caring for a family member, while honorable, is not counted as experience.

We serve the Central Arkansas area. 

Caregiver Job Duties Include:

Non-Medical, In-Home Assistance With Activities of Daily Living for Seniors and Other Adults

Bathing, Grooming, Dressing

Toileting and Incontinent Care

Walking, Transferring, Standing 

Meal Preparation 

Medication Reminders

Light Housekeeping and Laundry

Transportation of Client (in client's car)

Errands in the Caregiver’s Car (the client can never be in the caregiver’s car)

Companionship and Monitoring for Safety

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Experience or Training as a Caregiver

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver’s License

Reliable Transportation to and from Work and Current Car Liability Insurance

Verifiable Manager References from the Agencies, Facilities, or Clients You Have Worked for in the Past

Current Certification such as IHA, CNA, HHA, RA, PCA, PCT, etc. is preferred, but we will Consider Experience

Alzheimer’s or Dementia Experience is a Plus

Ability to Pass Criminal, Sexual Offense Registry, Terrorist, and Motor Vehicle Background Checks
