Job Description
At FirstLight Home Care, our goal is to help every client live life to the fullest by providing one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes!
We have multiple shift opportunities! Caregivers with all availabilities are encouraged to apply- we may have the perfect shift options for you! CNA certification is not required, but we do welcome CNAs to our team.
Experienced candidates having open availabilities and are open to commuting throughout McHenry County earn our highest pay rates.
Dementia experience and ambulatory equipment/patient lift experience is preferred. Comfortability with pets is also preferred, as many of our clients have them.
Here are some things you may do for clients:
- Help with personal care, including toileting and showering
- Ambulation assistance
- Med reminders, household tasks, take to appointments and errands
- Visit, read, play games

Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Proof of state-issued driver's license and valid auto insurance
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear national background check and fingerprints
- Pass drug screening
