In Home Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Newberg and surrounding areas to help clients make progress toward their goals.

Job Duties and Clients' Support Needs

• Work 1-on-1 with clients on a consistent schedule in their home and community
• Full and Partial assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor clients for safety
• Plan and organize daily tasks
• Provide support (including positive behavior supports) in accordance with a written service plan to help clients reach their goals
• Document services and report to supervisor weekly

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 3-5 years experience working or volunteering for folks who have an intellectual or developmental disability.
• Experience following behavior support plans.
• Experience working with clients who have one displayed one of the following behaviors: self injurious, elopment, screaming, physical aggression.
• Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance.
