At Creative Minds, our mission is to empower our clients to be as independent as possible. At this time our company is looking for Activity Instructors for our ILS/SLS Program to work with our clients in their homes and communities to provide exceptional support. We serve the San Fernando and some Antelope Valley recipients.

Our ILS/SLS Program provides one to one support to adults in their homes, to enable them to live successfully and fully integrate into their community. Your job as a staff member (DSP) is to provide instruction, support, physical help and assistance, and guidance to each client. Duties range from verbal guidance and coaching to full physical care giving, including lifting, transferring, toileting, feeding, etc. Other duties include grocery shopping, cooking, household maintenance, laundry. We also accompany our service recipients to medical appointments, Social Security Office, etc.

This position requires background clearance and health screening. We provide mileage reimbursement programs and other employee benefits, such as Health, Dental, and Life Insurance, sick and vacation pay, and more.
