Salary: $17-$20 (depending on your experience & availability)

Shift Type: 

  • You can work up to 35 hours per week
  • Night and day shifts (depends on availability) 
  • We have 4, 6, and 8 - hour shifts available

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care
  • Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands etc.
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Simple meal preparations
  • Light housekeeping
  • Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
    • Personal Hygiene
    • Dressing
    • Eating
    • Maintaining Continence
    • Help with Transferring/Mobility

And if you cover night and overnight shifts:  

  • Stay awake and alert to assist the client to go to the bathroom.
  • Check on the client on a regular basis.
  • Reposition to avoid bed sores.
  • If the client is an early riser, assist with getting dressed and breakfast. 
  • Occasionally help with incontinence issues.

All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your comfort level and knowledge.

Must Haves:

  • The most important requirement is to have a passion for working with and helping our senior community
  • Pass a background test
  • Must be able to speak and comprehend basic English
  • Current TB clearance
  • 18+ years old
