Position Summary

Responsibilities and Duties
Your primary responsibilities are:

Job description
Assisting Hands is hiring for Supported Living Services cases throughout OC! We provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes. Job duties include:
Personal Care Assistance (must be ok with: bathing, grooming, toileting)

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:
Provide personal care as specified by the written care plan and all activities of daily living (ADL’s)
Provide companionship for the client including, but not limited to: talking and listening, reading aloud, providing social and emotional support
Assist with light housekeeping duties
Prepare and serve meals as requested.
Accompany client on walks, doctor’s visits, and other errands
Complete Daily Activity Report to accurately record the care provided in the home.

Job Requirements:
· Experience- Experience with home making, cooking, cleaning, and assisting people in need. Experience with ADL’s preferred.
· Reliable Transportation- Having a reliable vehicle along with a current driver license and insurance is required for all caregiver positions.
· State Requirements- You must pass a state background check and complete the MN Department of Health Training, which is required. Proof or obtain a negative TB test.
· PAID Training / Orientation - Complete SYNERGY HomeCare onboarding process, which includes online and in-house training to prepare you for working with clients.
